Can you reserve park and picnic areas in Shorewood Parks?
There are picnic areas in Shorewood parks that are available to be reserved. With the exception of Hubbard Park Lodge and the River Club, all park areas are open to the public on a 1st-come 1st-served basis. Village Code prohibits the use of grills and the consumption of alcohol in the parks without permission of the Village Manager. Tents may not be erected in the parks and sound amplification equipment is prohibited. For information on Hubbard Park Lodge rentals, please call 414-332-4207 or visit the

How can I contact the Shorewood Historical Society?
The Shorewood Historical Society is located in the Village Center (Library lower level) at the following address:

The Society’s Sheldon Room houses its books, Shorewood High School yearbooks, the Wisconsin History magazines, various information sheets from historical societies, and the Shorewood Herald Collection Centennial Project among other items.
