The Village of Shorewood is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide project management and engineering design services for the proposed Southeast Area Combined Sewer Improvement (SEACSI) program.
The Village of Shorewood is seeking Village Attorney and/or Village Prosecutor services by licensed individuals in the State of Wisconsin. The Village Attorney will provide all legal services for the Village in order to support the needs of the organization, except for occasional services that require specialized expertise such as labor negotiations, bond counsel, development, prosecution or other matters at the discretion of the Village Board and Village Manager. Contract length for this service will be three years, with the option of renewal annual by the Village Manager for two additional years. The Village Prosecutor will represent the Village in Municipal Court by prosecuting all municipal traffic and non-traffic ordinance violations, jury/non-jury trials, plea negotiations and agreements.
The Village of Shorewood is looking for an event planner / project manager to coordinate the Fourth of July celebration and other potential special events. Annually, the Village hosts a parade on Oakland Avenue as well as a firework celebration with food and music at Atwater Park. The contracted party takes the lead coordinating community groups, entertainers, bands, and sponsors for the parade. The Shorewood Foundation provides a significant donation every year to fund the firework display and naming rights for the parade celebration.
The Village of Shorewood is seeking a consultant to both lead and assist with the development of updates to its Comprehensive Plan. The consultant will work with the Planning & Development Director to facilitate public engagement, and confirm or re-confirm goals, objectives and recommendations within the required plan elements. This endeavor has been described as an update, rather than a rewrite, and incorporation of recent planning efforts pertaining to transportation, housing and economic development is expected. Primary efforts will be spent on Issues and Opportunities, Land use and Intergovernmental Cooperation. See the Project Scope included within this RFP for complete details.
