Calling Shorewood artists! The Village of Shorewood recently installed a gallery rail system in our renovated Village Hall lobby. Rather than selecting artwork for purchase to adorn the walls, the Public Art Committee has developed a program to highlight the works of residents, those that work or attend school in Shorewood, or those with other connections to the Village of Shorewood.
Similar programs have long been established in
public libraries and the additional opportunity to show off local art will be a great addition to the Village Hall lobby.

The theme for the inaugural program is “Seasons in Shorewood” and the first display period of October 15, 2024 to January 15, 2025 will call for fall or autumn 2-D paintings or photography to be submitted for review by the Public Art Committee.
