Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin next week. The old pavement surface will be milled on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, November 3 the roadway will be paved and pavement markings installed.
Traffic on Oakland Avenue and Lake Drive will not be impacted during this operation. The Downer Avenue intersection will be open to traffic as much as possible to alleviate congestion and provide for bus access but will be closed for a brief period for paving work.
While no parking will be allowed on Edgewood during the project, residents will have access to their driveways as needed during the work.
