[ARCHIVED] Village Holiday Hours and Services

Facility Holiday Hours
Village Hall, DPW, the Police Department offices, the Library and all Village Center services (Senior Resource Center, Health Department) will be closed during these business days in recognition of the upcoming holidays:

  • Friday, December 24
  • Monday, December 27 (Library will remain open)
  • Friday, December 31
  • Monday, January 3 (Library will remain open)

DPW Collections
Refuse and recycling collections will be delayed by one day the weeks of December 27 and January 3. There also will be no special collections the week of December 27. Residents will have an opportunity to use the DPW Compactor and Recycling Center on Saturday, January 8, 2021 (due to the center being closed January 1) during the normal scheduled hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you have questions about collections or DPW services, feel free to contact DPW at 414-847-2650.

Overnight On-Street Parking Restrictions
The Shorewood Police Department will be removing overnight on-street parking restrictions for the mornings (3:00 - 5:00 a.m.) of December 24 through January 2. This means the last date to request a permission for 2020 would be the morning of December 23 and the first date to request a permission for 2021 would be the morning of January 3.
