The last day for lifeguards at Atwater beach will be Sunday, August 15. As a reminder, their hours of service at the beach is from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Please remember the new ordinance that enforces no smoking on Village parkland, which includes Atwater Beach. Other rules consist of no dogs, no fires or grills, and no glass. While lifeguards will be actively enforcing beach rules, their primary focus will be monitoring the water to assure all visitors are safe. The Village encourages everyone to stay on the public beach where there are trained lifeguards to keep all community members safe.
If you have questions, contact Eric Gietzen at email@example.com. Please be safe this summer and enjoy Shorewood's public beach!
