The Village of Shorewood is coordinating a Fourth of July celebration for the community in 2021. Currently, Fourth of July Coordinator Sarah DeNeve is accepting proposals from interested community groups, businesses, entertainers, bands, and vendors. There is no resolution on the status of the fireworks celebration as of now. The Village Board determined during a previous meeting that the Village may not be able to host the fireworks celebration at Atwater Park safely due to a number of people yet to be vaccinated. Village staff has been working with Milwaukee County Parks to see if Estabrook Park could serve as an alternative site for only 2021. The Village will provide an update once a decision is made on the status of the fireworks.
