The Village of Shorewood is seeking to fill the position of Program Assistant in the Senior Resource Center (SRC).
Under the general direction of the Senior Resource Center Coordinator, this person will help coordinate programming, promotion, and event planning, and provide other office support as needed.
Some of the responsibilities would include facilitation and promotion of events across multi-media platforms, coordination of volunteers, venue set-up, catering and administrative support. The applicant should possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. In addition, they should have at least one year’s professional experience working with older adults, experience with social media platforms, and experience with catering or food service. This person will work in the Senior Resource Center office, which is in the lower level of Village Center (3920 N. Murray Ave.).
The person would earn between $15.25 - $17.25 per hour pending qualifications.
