[ARCHIVED] Village's DPW Operations for the Immediate Future

dpw2013

The Village of Shorewood’s Department of Public Works is experiencing a shortage in personnel due to a number of employees who have been directed to quarantine by the North Shore Health Department.

We want to notify the public that refuse and brush collection will continue as scheduled. Available staff will continue leaf collection, however the day-certain schedule is suspended. Residents are encouraged to bag leaves in paper yard waste bags; these bags will be collected with yard waste on the regular weekly collection day. Saturday compactor and recycling hours are cancelled for the immediate future. The recycling drop-off center will remain available Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Village will also not be adding any more special collections at the moment.

If you have questions, please contact the DPW office at 414.847.2650.

Additional questions in relation to COVID-19 may also be answered on the CDC FAQ website.
