The recent Fall issue of Shorewood Today magazine is now available to view online. You can also access archived issues of the magazine.
The Fall issue is a special publication that is solely devoted to racial inequity. Stories share the perspective of several Black community members about what it is like living or working in Shorewood. Other articles provide historic background on the impact of systemic racist policies like redlining and what community groups are doing today to address racial inequity.
Shorewood Today is published jointly four times a year by the Shorewood School District, the Village of Shorewood, the Shorewood Business Improvement District (BID), the Shorewood Foundation and the Community Development Authority with additional support from Shorewood’s Marketing Program. This free publication is mailed to every household in Shorewood and distributed at Village Hall, Shorewood Public Library, area realtors and to our advertisers.
