Shorewood residents have experienced many challenges this year including illness, isolation, grief, unexpected home schooling, job loss, and more. At the same time, neighbors are stepping up in large numbers to support each other. Instead of selecting just one neighbor or neighborhood to honor this year, we want to celebrate all our Shorewood heroes and helpers.
Some neighbors have done something big, like organizing a march, while others do smaller, quieter acts of kindness like bringing a meal, picking up groceries, helping with yard work, or reaching out with a song or caring note.
Please join us in nominating one or more neighbors to be recognized with a letter of thanks and the opportunity to be recognized on the Shorewood Neighbor Honor Roll on the Village website for doing all the little and big things that make Shorewood a kind, welcoming place to live.
