Fourth of July Celebration Cancelled

The 4th of July Fireworks and Parade is cancelled for this year. The Shorewood Foundation will be passing out U.S. flags at Atwater Park (near the overlook of the beach) and Spector Field (near the concession stand) on Friday, July 3 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.


Holiday Hours

Due to the 4th of July holiday, a number of Village facilities will be closed this Friday: Village Hall, Police Department offices, and Public Works. The Library will be open for its regular business hours on Friday. All Village facilities will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6.


Holiday Parking Restrictions Lifted

The Police Department will be lifting overnight on-street parking restrictions starting the morning of Friday, July 3. These parking restrictions will be lifted for the entire weekend will go back into effect for the morning of Monday, July 6. If you have any questions about parking hours, please contact the Police Department at 414.847.2610.

The Village wants to take a moment to thank all of the Police, Fire, Dispatch, and all other Village employees working on the Fourth of July this year. You are dedicating your time keeping us safe so that thousands of families and neighbors can celebrate the holiday. I also want to thank and recognize those community members who served or currently serve our country for their service, especially during this time as we honor our country. Thank you!
