The Conservation Committee is hosting the 2020 Environmental Film Festival. The first movie is "Awake." The film will be shown on Friday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of Village Center. The event is free and open to the public.
The film, "Awake," features the Water Protectors at Standing Rock who captured world attention through their peaceful resistance. The film documents the story of Native-led defiance that forever changes the fight for clean water, our environment and the future of our planet. After the film, the Conservation Committee will have guest speakers to lead a group discussion.
