[ARCHIVED] Final Presentation of the Transportation and Parking Analysis

After over half a year’s worth of research, observation, public input and review commentary, the final recommendations of the Village’s Transportation and Parking Analysis will be presented at a special Committee of the Whole meeting on Thursday, January 30. The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Village Center.

Project consultants from Walker Consultants and Eriksson Engineering will present their recommendations on parking policy, including overnight and winter restrictions, and transportation infrastructure, notably safety and calming alternatives. Formal acceptance of the plan is anticipated to take place in February. Recommendations within the report will require further action by Village officials and staff prior to implementation. Those actions are expected to take place throughout 2020 and beyond. The Village will continue to provide updates on their progress and looks forward to continued public participation.

More information on the analysis, including the draft report, can be found at the project’s website We look forward to seeing you there!
