Accurate Appraisal

The revaluation of all taxable real and personal property in the Village of Shorewood has been completed. The purpose of the revaluation is to ensure that properties are assessed on a fair and equitable basis. The goal is to bring all property assessments to fair market value as required by state law.

If you have any questions concerning your new valuation, there will be an Open Book session held by Accurate Appraisal, LLC at the Shorewood Village Hall, Committee Room, 2nd Floor where you can meet individually with one of the appraisers. The Open Book session will be held on: 

  • Wednesday, July 10 from 12:00 - 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 11 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Online appointment scheduling is available. If you wish to meet with one of the appraisers, please log on to and click the online APPOINTMENTS link on top of the screen, then choose your location (Shorewood), next choose your service (Open Book). After you select your schedule/date, click the date on the calendar to select your appointment time and then enter your personal information. 

If you do not have Internet access, please call Accurate Appraisal at 1.800.770.3927 to schedule an appointment. If you cannot make the arranged appointment times and you wish to discuss your assessment, you can call Accurate’s office or e-mail them at For additional assessment information please visit If you are no longer the owner of the property described on the property assessment notice, please return it to Accurate Appraisal LLC, PO Box 415, Menasha, WI 54952 or you may drop it off at Shorewood Village Hall, 3930 N Murray Ave.

If, AFTER the Open Book session, you wish to object to the assessment, contact Village Clerk Sara Bruckman at or 414.847.2608 to file a “Form of Objection” and to schedule an appointment before the local Board of Review. You will need to file a written or oral intent to object with the Municipal Clerk at least 48 hours prior to the Board of Review. The Board of Review will be meeting at the Shorewood Village Hall on Wednesday, August 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
