[ARCHIVED] Oakland Avenue Lane Closure for Ascension Water Service

utility work ahead

Beginning Monday, June 24, expect the northbound traffic lane on the 4000 block of Oakland Ave. to be closed.

The lane closure is due to a new water service being brought into the new Ascension Healthcare Clinic at 4027 N. Oakland Ave. The work requires tapping the water main on Oakland Ave. and at the same time abandoning the old water services.

The southbound lane will remain open during the project. The work is projected to be completed within the week, depending on weather and other factors, as the Village anticipates the northbound lanes to be re-opened by the end of they day on Friday, June 28.
