[ARCHIVED] No Parking on Lake Drive this week

utility work ahead

Last week, DPW installed “NO PARKING, MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, 7-5” on both sides of Lake Drive from Capitol Drive north to the Village Limits.

Green Bay Pipe and T.V., under contract by Village, will be cleaning and televising the sewer mains under Lake Drive. This work is necessary to determine / assess the condition of the sewer main prior to the proposed WisDot reconstruction of Lake Drive.

This work will involve a 2-3 truck mobile operation requiring traffic to be diverted around the equipment within their work zone. The Contractor will be responsible for all traffic control, which will involve posted “Utility Work Ahead” signs on each end of the project, vehicle mounted arrow boards, and traffic cones and necessary flaggers.

Work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the week. (March 29). Please contact the Department of Public Works at 414.847.2650 if you have any questions.
