[ARCHIVED] Village encourages residents to still follow winter parking regulations

winter parking regulations

March 1 marks the last day of the winter parking regulations. Our Village Code states that from December 1 through March 1, vehicles must refrain from parking on the north or east side of the street unless subject to an exception identified in the Code.

Unfortunately, there are no signs of winter coming to a conclusion any time soon as the weather forecast in the next 10 days calls for the chance of snow on a number of occasions. As a result, we are asking for residents and visitors to still respect the winter parking regulations when able to assure our DPW plows and emergency vehicles can get through all residential streets.

If you have any questions about the enforcement of winter parking, please feel free to contact the Police Department at 414.847.2610. Otherwise, all snow operational questions can be directed to Public Works at 414.847.2650.
