This money will support four community coloring murals to be displayed at four Shorewood events for kids and adults to show their artistic flare. These events include the Thursday, July 25 Shorewood Library Celebration, the Thursday, August 8 National Night Out at Atwater School, the Saturday, September 14 Shorewood Feast, and the Saturday, October 5 Fish & Feather Festival in Hubbard Park.
This sponsorship will also support a Storm Drain Art Contest with local artists in early fall. We are grateful for the support of this project in educating the public and infusing artistic expression into caring for our waterways. We also welcome your artistic ideas for the future.
