One southbound lane of traffic will remain open for local access between East Kenwood Boulevard and East Edgewood Avenue. Residents are encouraged to use the closest open side street to enter and leave the work zone.
Alternate Routes
- Motorists traveling southbound on North Lake Drive are encouraged to use East Capitol Drive, North Maryland Avenue and East Kenwood Boulevard to get around the closure
- Motorists traveling northbound on North Lake Drive are encouraged to use East Kenwood Boulevard and North Oakland Avenues and East Capitol Drive to get around the closure
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained throughout the project. Temporary driveway closures may be necessary for short periods, and the contractor will contact property owners 48 hours before closing a driveway.
