To celebrate and promote water safety, the Shorewood Waters Project is hosting a media and community training event at Atwater Beach on Friday, June 6, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
The event will include participation from the North Shore and Milwaukee Fire Departments, WaterSafe MKE, Milwaukee Beach Ambassadors, Shorewood Foundation, Shorewood Waters Project, Surfrider Foundation MKE, and other partners.
Over 50 students from St. Robert School will also be attending, walking down to the beach for a water safety training and a discussion on plastic waste.
All Shorewood residents are invited to join us at the beach!
