The project is scheduled to begin in early February 2025 and be completed in late fall 2025.
The project will reconstruct the roadway and driveway approaches, construct ADA-compliant curb ramps, enhance bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, replace water mains and sewers, and upgrade traffic lighting and signals. WIS 32, between Edgewood Avenue and Kensington Boulevard, is scheduled to close to through traffic while crews reconstruct the roadway.
• One traffic lane will remain open for local access.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained on one side of the street during construction.
Detour Routes:
→ Motorists using Lincoln Memorial Drive are encouraged to use Kenwood Boulevard, Oakland Avenue and Hampton Road to get around the closure.
→ WIS 32 motorists are encouraged to use North Avenue, Oakland Avenue and Hampton Road to get around the closure.
