Community Development

Community Development is an essential function of the Village that promotes economic growth and improves the overall quality of life for the community.  It often focuses on individual projects or particular points of interest, including redevelopment and specialized planning.  The benefits of community development, include increased employment and housing options, and improved infrastructure. 

Community Development services include:

• Business Loan Program (suspended as of 4/5/19)
• Tax Incremental Financing
• Facade Improvement Program Grants (suspended as of 4/20/20)
• Neighborhood Improvement Loan Program (suspended as of 11/5/18)
