**In order to fund the Emergency Business Assistance Program, the Facade Improvement Program was formally suspended by the CDA on 04/02/20 with confirmation of the Village Board on 04/20/20.
The Village’s Community Development Authority, in partnership with Shorewood’s Business Improvement District, offer a business grant program for storefront facades. The purpose of the program is to stimulate exterior building improvements to existing commercial buildings which are sufficient in scope to produce visible changes to the building facades.
This program has enhanced the attractiveness of Shorewood’s business district since program inception in 2004.
The Business Improvement Business Director most recently administered the program.
