Additional Programs

  • Fingerprinting - Fingerprinting is available upon request for Shorewood residents. There is a small fee for this service.
  • Neighborhood Watch Program - The Shorewood Neighborhood Watch Program currently involves approximately 1,500 homes. Each block that is involved has a start-up meeting where an officer will explain basic home security, personal safety, and determining what suspicious activity is. After that, each home on the block is supplied with neighborhood watch signs and various handouts.
  • Operation I.D. - Engraving equipment is available at the police station for residents to mark valuables with a unique I.D. number.
  • Project Child Safe - Residents of Shorewood can pick up a fee cable style gun lock for safe gun storage (while supplies last).
