- Shorewood Recycles!
Recyclable materials are collected from one, two, three, and four family residential units bi-weekly by Waste Management under contract with the Village of Shorewood.
Please view the full list of recyclable items (PDF) Plastic to-go cups and paper cups are now able to go in recycle carts as well, once they have rinsed out and are dry.
Carts must be placed at the curb or alley by 7 a.m. on collection day. Residents with alley access should place the cart adjacent to the alley at alley grade while residents with street access should place the cart on the parkway between the sidewalk and the curb adjacent to the driveway with the lid opening toward the street for rapid service.
Please note that all refuse must be placed inside the cart for collection. No bags or items outside the cart can be collected.
