The Village of Shorewood is seeking to fill the position of Systems Maintenance Technician within our Department of Public Works. Under the general direction of the Public Works Director and Superintendent of Public Works, the position's primary duties include the maintenance and upkeep of the Village street lighting system, traffic control system (signals and signage) and the maintenance of barricades and other traffic control devices. The hourly range for this position is $27.06 to $33.59.
Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED supplemented by two years of skills or vocational training and four years of experience in the electrical or building trades, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
