- Architectural and Site Review
Any improvement project that changes the exterior of a building, whether it's commercial or residential, requires approval by Shorewood's Design Review Board. The board requires two architects and two more professional designers or architects to serve out of 9 total members. The board meets twice a month.
Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month except November and December they are held the 1st and 3rd. Meetings begin at 5:00 p.m. and are in the Village Hall 2nd floor committee room. Applications and materials are due 10 days prior to the meeting. Provide 6 copies if plans are 11 inches by 17 inches or smaller or 2 copies if larger. Plan sets must be to scale.
All new or replaced commercial signage also requires design approval.
