A designated Tree City USA by the National Arbor Foundation since 1996, Shorewood - by its very name - is defined by its urban forest. The Village of Shorewood owns and maintains nearly 6,300 street trees and hundreds more park and open space trees.

Potholes & Street Repair

Department of Public Works (DPW) street crews make every effort to respond to reports of potholes within as soon as possible. Report a pothole online or call the DPW office at 414-847-2650 and leave a message which includes the location for repair.

Clogged Street Drains

If you notice a storm sewer inlet that has become clogged with leaves, branches or other debris, please clear the grate. If you are unable to do, please contact our office at 414-847-2650 and our Utility staff will remove the debris.


Have you noticed a parking, stop, street or other regulatory sign worn or in need of replacement? Please report online or contact us at 414-847-2650.


Please report any non-working or blinking streetlights! DPW staff is generally not on-site overnight and we depend on your assistance to identify streetlight outages. Report online or call the DPW office at 414-847-2650 and leave a message which includes a specific location including the nearest house number, if possible.
