- Annual Sewer Lining Program
The Village of Shorewood and the Shorewood Sewer Utility utilize lining technologies to improve performance and extend the life of sewer pipes. Each year, Sewer Utility staff utilize the shared Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) rig (pictures) to investigate sewer infrastructure in approximately one-seventh of the village. Following the review of those tapes, staff identifies pipe segments in need of repair or rehabilitation. A contract for the rehabilitation work is awarded following a public bid process.
The 2020 program will include pipe segments and manholes in various locations throughout the Village. Affected residents will be notified via a door notice.
The contractor will be determined following a public bidding process. Please see additional information regarding the Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) process (PDF).
