Police Commission Overview

The commission has powers and authority pursuant to Wisconsin statutes. The commission is concerned with police personnel matters. It prepares an eligibility list of job applicants for police positions following a prescribed examination and selection procedure. The commission also approves promotions and reviews certain disciplinary action by the Police Chief
