2018 Environmental Film Festival debuts with "Catching the Sun"

2018 environmental film festival

The Shorewood Conservation Committee is launching its second annual Environmental Film Festival in February with its first screening.  Join us for "Catching the Sun" on February 9 at 7 p.m. in the Village Center.  Admission is FREE.

Shorewood is already going solar.  The 2016 Solar Shorewood group-buy program with Milwaukee registered as the largest in Wisconsin to date.  But one of the biggest questions of our time is whether the U.S. will actually be able to build a clean energy economy.  "Catching the Sun" follows the global race to lead the clean energy revolution.  Solar jobs training programs like the one profiled in "Catching the Sun" can help show us the way to bridging environmental gains and economic opportunities, perhaps even for cities like ours.  For more information on "Catching the Sun", click here.
