Shorewood Waters Project

The Shorewood Waters Project is a program developed by the Village of Shorewood to connect residents to their water resources and empower them with simple solutions to enhance and protect water quality - especially the waters of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee River. This project has created a series of fun and informative events designed to get people out and enjoying these waterways.

Shorewood is surrounded by two awesome waterways: the Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan. The key to keeping these waters healthy is keeping the land clean and finding innovative ways to handle dirty stormwater that flows over the land when it rains.
